ABSENTEE BALLOTS
The Secretary of the State is taking action to ensure that access to voting is a reality for all voters, no matter what the circumstances.

The Office of the Secretary of the State will mail absentee ballot applications to all eligible voters for the 2020 primary and general elections. If you do not receive one in the mail, please click here for the application. These applications must be completed and returned in order for you to receive your ballot.

Pre-paid postage will be provided for both the application and ballot. In addition, secure drop boxes will be provided to every municipality so that absentee ballots may be deposited by voters.

Please note that there are several lawsuits in progress and a potential special session connected to this process. For updates, we recommend following SOTS Denise Merrill here.
